- Serotonergic medications, including antidepressants — methylene blue is a potent MAO-A inhibitor and the FDA has warned of serotonin syndrome in this combination.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- Contains 10 mg of methylene blue per daily serving. If any other methylene blue product is taken alongside it, the doses add together.
